As we examine the many names of this feast we find out why one of those names is “The Day and the Hour No Man Knows”. Understanding the many facets of this day will help one to rightly divide prophetic events in the book of Revelations. This Day of the Awakening Blast, another day for the Feast of Trumpets, will proof to be the second most important day on earth with the resurrection of Christ as being number one. Rosh Hashanah (Hebrew: ראש השנה, literally “head [of] the year”) is the Jewish New Year although the real name for this Feast of the Lord is called Yom Teruah (Hebrew: יום תרועה, literally “day [of] shouting/raising a noise”) or the Feast of Trumpets according to the correct biblical calendar of the 1st and 2nd temple period, not Rosh Hashanah. It is the first of theHigh Holy Days or Yamim Nora’im (“Days of Awe”) which usually occur in the early autumn of the Northern Hemisphere.
