Parables of Jesus: Lesson Fifteen

Matthew 24:32  “Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh:”

When ask by his disciples what would be the sign of the end of the world (age), Jesus expounds and then ends his answer with the Parable of the Fig Tree. In this lesson we will cover the importance of Israel’s rebirth in 1948. The world is still unaware concerning the prophetic magnitude of the rebirth of Israel as a nation after 2000 years of being dispersed. Proceeding the parable Christ speaks 28 verses listing other road signs pointing to the season of Messiah’s return. We are told by Jesus: “Not a generation shall pass when you see all these things”. This lesson is designed to bring a greater clarity to this statement. How long is a generation? Listen and learn what we believe may be an answer!
