The Five Foundations: Tabernacle Lesson Three

A study of the Table of Shew Bread which sat in the Holy Place outside the veil. Shewbread (Hebrew: לחם הפנים lechem haPānīm‎, literally: “Bread of the Presence”), in the King James Version: shewbread, in a biblical or Jewish context, refers to the cakes or loaves of bread which were always present on a specially dedicated table, in the Temple in Jerusalem as an offering to God.

This bread was only to be eaten by the Priest’s on each Sabbath.

John 6:51
I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live forever: and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world.
