Passover: Lesson Five

We conclude our final of five Passover lessons with instruction and explanation of the actual prescribed Passover meal. Here you will learn what Jesus did as he ate his last supper with the disciples. You also will hear what portions of the Passover meal Jesus did not complete, and why on his final meal. For all that have ever taken what we Christians call Communion this is a must hear and understand.

The term Pesach (Hebrew: פֶּסַח‎) may also refer to the lamb or goat which was designated as the Passover sacrifice (called theKorban Pesach in Hebrew). Four days before the Exodus, the Hebrews were commanded to set aside a lamb.(Exodus 12:3) and inspect it daily for blemishes. During the day on the 14th of Nisan, they were to slaughter the animal and use its blood to mark theirlintels and door posts. Up until midnight on the 15th of Nisan, they were to consume the lamb. On the night of the first Passover at the start of the original Exodus, each family (or group of families) gathered together to eat a meal that included the meat of the Korban Pesach while the Tenth Plague ravaged Egypt.
