Whether it is a sheep, a silver coin, or especially a son, that which has been lost creates great joy at the redemption of what seemed gone. The Good Shepherd, allows us to have insight into his great mercy, and grace as he gives us a trilogy of trials which all have happy endings only due to the faithfulness of the one willing to search for that which was lost.
