Now that we know the moon is to be observed for the biblical calendar we can comment on three of the many titles for Rosh Hashanah. The three titles we will discuss are as follows; DAY OF CONCEALMENT, THE HIDDEN FEAST, and THE DAY AND THE HOUR THAT NO MAN KNOWS. As you read these titles they speak of something hidden. This is exactly what our moon does at the end of each month; it is concealed from the world for seven days and then reappears. GOD designed his seven feasts (which in Hebrew the word for feast is moed, meaning appointment or set time) to correlate with his time piece for man which is the moon and the stars. I will state again that this is so his people always have a fixed reference that man, false religion, or Satan can not change. Obviously the moon has no light of its own. Just as the believer has no light of his own, He can only reflect the light of the Son. Just as the moon hides then reappears, so will the dead in Messiah reappear. The seven days the moon is hidden, or concealed speak of the one week prophesied in the book of Daniel that will be seven years long called the time of Jacob’s trouble or the tribulation period, followed by the coming of Messiah. While on earth we can not see the moon for the seven days it is hide. Though the moon is concealed from man on earth it is basking in the light of the sun, thus a picture of the believers caught up to heaven and hidden with GOD at the Last Trump. Then the sign of the Son of Man shall appear in the heavens as the King returns to set up his kingdom seven years (represented by the one week, 7 days) after the rapture occurs at the Last Trump. In ancient times it was believed this Feast was hidden from Satan by GOD. As you know if Satan would have known who Yeshua (Jesus) was he would have never crucified the LORD of GLORY. Of course by now Satan has read this and many other articles and now knows the secret of the Hidden Feast, Day of Concealment, also called by the idiom the Day And The Hour Know Man Knows. Satan now uses crack pots to set dates that come and go, lulling the world to sleep by to many who have cried wolf. Remember church, these seven feasts are GOD’s appointments. Yeshua (Jesus) fulfilled the first four feasts right on time. Seed time and harvest have not changed, neither has the moon. Just as Christ was planted (crucified at PASSOVER buried at UNLEAVENED BREAD and resurrected on 1st FRUITS on Nissan 17th, which is our solar month of April / May at the full moon) at seed time so shall he harvest or gather into his barn the long awaited fruit at the time of harvest in the fall, the month of Tishrei ( which is our solar month Sept. / Oct.) on the new moon. DAY OF CONCEALMENT = SATAN WAS NOT TOLD OF THIS DAY THE HIDDEN FEAST = THE BELIEVER HIDDEN WITH G-D WHILE HIS WRATH IS POURED OUT ON EARTH BELOW DAY AND HOUR NO MAN KNOWS = ONLY FEAST STARTING ON NEW MOON (YOU HAD TO BE WATCHING & READY). We shall now cover three more names of this feast, or appointment of the LORD. There is no other Feast of the LORD with as many multiple names as this feast of Rosh Hashanah. We will cover sixteen of the major names of this appointed day. With knowledge of what each name means we begin to see the many faceted events that will begin on the year when GOD keeps his appointment of this fall feast at the time of the latter rain and fruit harvest in Israel each year. As we investigate each scriptural picture that these titles unveil an understanding unfolds that it would be difficult for all these events to take place at the same time in one place. Upon further
investigation it is revealed they do occur simultaneously, but not in the same theater, or same place. Depending on where one finds themselves after the Last Trump determines which picture or place they will experience. Some of the titles are playing in heaven, while other of the titles will be showing on earth. Which theater you attend depends on you. TESHUVA. May your name be inscribed in THE BOOK OF LIFE !!!
The Last Trump, the Day of the Awakening Blast, and the Resurrection of the Dead are three of the sixteen major titles for Rosh HaShanah we shall now explore. The biblical term Last Trump has always been understood in Old Testament times to refer to the right horn on the ram that replaced Isaac when his father Abraham, in obedience to GOD, was to sacrifice his son, his only son. (remember the old testament is a picture of CHRIST) (See Genesis 22:13) As you know a ram has two horns. The ram’s horns were seen as being fashioned into two trumpets or in Hebrew a shofar. Of course this ram which was caught in the thicket, (representing Christ who was entangled in our sins) was the substitute for father Abraham’s only son, and was slain as his substitute. This sacrificed ram was seen as being resurrected in heaven after it had been sacrificed. Resurrection of the dead with those who have faith in Messiah is an Old Testament doctrine. Therefore there are two shofars that GOD would sound, they are called the first and the last trump. The first trump, or left horn, was sounded 1500 B.C. on the Feast of Pentecost at mount Sinai when the children of Israel were betrothed to G-D after being set free from Egypt. Remember it was the blood of the lamb that allowed them to be set free. (see Exodus 18:8-16) Upon the people saying yes to G-D’S commandments (which are seen as the marriage contract that the faithful bride is to fulfill) the people heard the sound of the first shofar or first trump, being blown by an angelic being from heaven. Just as the first trump announced the engagement of the people to G-D, it was understood there will be a last trump for those who have fulfilled the wedding contract. It is at this last Trump that the faithful bride will be caught up in heaven to marry their Messiah. This understanding is still alive today in the Christian Church with only the name being changed, as we call it the Rapture of the Church. Next we will uncover the title Day of the Awakening Blast. To get the full benefit of this title we must say it in Hebrew; “YOM TERUAH”. Teruah means “an awaking blast or shout” thus one of the many themes of Rosh Hashanah is to awake.
Remember in the new testament Lazarus had died and his sister upon seeing Jesus tells him, “Lazarus is dead”, yet Jesus told his disciples, “Our friend Lazarus sleeps: but I go that I may awake him out of sleep”. ( John 11:11) Through out the Bible those who died in righteous faith are seen as asleep, waiting to be awakened by: the Last Trump or the Awakening Blast (Yom Teruah). This brings us to our next title and theme of Rosh HaShanah called: the Resurrection of the dead. As you know many Christians today believe the dead in Christ shall rise. What is being
restored to the Church is the original understanding of when. Our Fathers of the original Christian faith are the Jews. In the Talmud, chapter Rosh Hashanah 16b states, “The resurrection of the dead will take place on Rosh HaShanah” this is the understanding given to the church from its beginning. Thank G-d he truly is restoring that which was lost. In the following scriptures we shall see it is not just tradition of men but the Word of G-D that explains these appointments or the Feasts of the LORD.
