Feast of Trumpets: Lesson Three

The next title for Rosh Hashanah we shall investigate is; THE DAY OF THE LORD. With the understanding of this term, and its associated Bible phrase; IN THAT DAY, many cloudy Bible pictures can become quit clear. These two phrases are used over one hundred times in the word of GOD. When either of these terms is used they are to transport the mind of the hearer to the last or seventh 1000 year long day of time on earth. God starts a new calendar in Exodus chapter twelve. We refer to this new Biblical calendar as the Religious Calendar as it is the calendar that GOD appoints his feasts by. God changes the first month of the biblical calendar to the seventh month on the religious calendar. Now the religious calendar begins with the seventh month of the civil calendar calling it the first month. (see our chart the biblical calendar for clarification

The Place

A precise location on earth since the beginning of time.

Somewhere on this earth is a spot where the dust of the ground was taken from to form the first human being. This created man was the first person GOD made a living soul.

Genesis 2:7-8 And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul. And the LORD God planted a garden eastward in Eden; and there he put the man whom he had formed.
