Putting It All Together

Soon to be released book by Pastor Michael Joe Kearse

Foreword

Biblical prophecy is typically the prediction of future events based on the action, function, or faculty of a prophet. A prophet is an individual who is claimed to have been contacted by the divine, and to speak for them, serving as an intermediary with humanity, delivering this newfound knowledge from the divine source to other people. By definition a prophet is someone who speaks by divine inspiration. Our Bible is based on the words of the divine as recorded or spoken by many different prophets. The list of bible individuals that have been clearly defined as prophets, either by explicit scriptural statement, or strong contextual implication is quite long. Including individuals listed in scripture as having visionary, or prophetic experience from the divine number well over one hundred.

Timeline Of The Holyland

Pastor Kearse compiled this timeline of the Holy Land as a reference in your weekly study. This will provide you with a big picture of the major events in biblical history relating to the land of Israel.  The Hebrew Bible (Tanakh) or Christian Old Testament indicates the passage of time and thus gives a chronological calibration to biblical history by means of various genealogies, generations, reign-periods, and other means. The passage of time in the earlier passages of Genesis is indicated by counts of generations: an individual lived so many years, begat a son, and died at such and such an age: when the ages at each birth of a new generation are added together, the result is the total number of years elapsed. In later books the passage of years is calibrated to events in the overall narrative (e.g., 1 Kings 6:1 states that the building of the Temple of Solomon began in the 480th year from the Exodus), or by inter-relationships of the reigns of kings (e.g., king A of Israel came to the throne in year X of king B of Judah and ruled Z number of years, for example in 1 Kings 15:25-28).

Feast of Trumpets: Lesson Three

The next title for Rosh Hashanah we shall investigate is; THE DAY OF THE LORD. With the understanding of this term, and its associated Bible phrase; IN THAT DAY, many cloudy Bible pictures can become quit clear. These two phrases are used over one hundred times in the word of GOD. When either of these terms is used they are to transport the mind of the hearer to the last or seventh 1000 year long day of time on earth. More specifically to the first few years of that last day as the Messiah begins to cleanse the world just prior to his return. Remember Messiah Yeshua (Jesus) shall rule on earth before the Great White Throne of Judgment for 1000 years, or in GOD time, one day.

Feast of Trumpets: Lesson Two

Now that we know the moon is to be observed for the biblical calendar we can comment on three of the many titles for Rosh Hashanah. The three titles we will discuss are as follows; DAY OF CONCEALMENT, THE HIDDEN FEAST, and THE DAY AND THE HOUR THAT NO MAN KNOWS. As you read these titles they speak of something hidden. This is exactly what our moon does at the end of each month; it is concealed from the world for seven days and then reappears. GOD designed his seven feasts (which in Hebrew the word for feast is moed, meaning appointment or set time) to correlate with his time piece for man which is the moon and the stars.
